TRANSAS AIS CLASS B MAKES PEACE OF MIND AFFORDABLE

The Universal Automatic Identification System (UAIS) is designed for improving safety and efficiency of navigation in the open sea and coastal waters through the automatic exchange of navigational, statistic and voyage information between the ships and coastal stations.
As per the requirements contained in Chapter 5 "Safety of navigation? of the international SOLAS Convention, in the period between 2002 and 2004 all the ships of 300 gross tonnage and upwards must be fitted out with AIS equipment.
UAIS Transas T102/T112 is designed for improving safety of navigation in the open sea and coastal waters through the automatic data exchange between vessels and coastal VTS stations of navigational, static and voyage data, information concerning safety of navigation. Also UAIS Transas T102/T112 is used to provide Ship Security Alert system with information of vessel?s position.
UAIS T102 comprises internal GLONASS/GPS receiver. UAIS T112 comprises internal GPS receiver.
