The SAILOR RT4822 is a part of SAILOR’s compact System 4000 GMDSS solution and is especially suitable for the professional maritime business. The SAILOR RT4822 is an advanced DSC unit (class A) with all the necessary equipment built into one compact unit. This VHF was introduced on the market in 1998 and is today used all over the world on many different types of vessels. It has maintained and enhanced the reputation of SAILOR VHFs as user friendly and reliable at all times. In April 2005 a new VHF, the RT5022, has been introduced to the market and will continue the SAILOR legacy being a “classic with revolutionary new featuresâ€Â.
The SAILOR RT2048 VHF is a true workhorse, which has for many years been the preferred choice for seamen all over the World. Its compact metal cabinet houses transmitter, receiver and a 6W loudspeaker with clear and powerful audio. The robust push buttons are night illuminated and the large LED channel display allows easy read-out under all conditions. As a result the SAILOR RT2048 VHF is as easy to use as it is sturdy.

Duplex, for full two-way communication
The SAILOR RT4722 VHF fulfils the needs for full two-ways communication at sea and is approved for GMDSS installations. The SAILOR RT4722 is a part of SAILOR’s compact System 4000 GMDSS solution and is especially suitable for the professional maritime business. The SAILOR RT4722 is an advanced DSC unit (class A) with all the necessary equipment built into one compact unit.
The SAILOR A1 VHF comes in two versions: SAILOR RT4800 VHF and SAILOR RT4801 VHF DSC (Class D). Both versions are developed to increase safety and ease communication for all kinds of vessels – from leisure boats, work boats and fishing vessels to cargo ships or cruise liners. The compact transceiver can be put aside and only the combined control unit / handset needs a visible space on the bridge. The system can be operated with as many as seven handsets providing a very flexible solution. The system also works as an on-board intercom, allowing communication between two or more handsets. An external loudspeaker can be connected.
